NAPA RESIDENCE

For a west-coast client we designed a 3-bedroom villa on a stunning Napa Valley property characterized by 100-year-old oak trees and surrounding grapevines. The design shown here is the result of a careful site-analysis. The house itself is centered around a pool, and it integrates all the large trees that created a magnificent natural setting. Careful thought was given to access and views, with large sliding doors allowing for a fluid transition between interior and exterior spaces. Large projecting ceiling planes and overhangs provide protection from the hot summer, and a separate orientation of living and sleeping quarters allow this house to be perfect for entertaining and accommodation of friends and family.
