In early 2020 Uli Wagner Design Lab was asked by General Idea, a well-known creative Agency, to reorganize and visually upgrade an entire floor in the Chelsea Arts Tower that the Agency was about to occupy. The brutalist tower architecture needed to be warmed up and rendered more appropriate for a creative organization. The owners’ eclectic taste with UWDL’s design philosophy led to an airy, roomy layout with interesting materials, eclectic furniture and art, while maximizing the stunning Manhattan views from the full height glass windows.
